Nithiin-starrer Bheeshma has been tipped to be a romantic comedy. And going by the film’s teaser, which released a few days ago, it clearly establishes the actor in the role of a man with quirks, who cracks out-of-turn jokes and insults people unknowingly, all the while being romantic.
It seems the film’s director Venu Kudumula, of Chalo fame, wanted to ensure Nithiin shows up in a never-seen-before role, which will also double up as the film’s USP.
Adding that the film will be a breezy entertainer and will strike the chord at the box office, director Venky Kudumula says, “Apart from the soulful story, one of the biggest assets to the film is Nithiin’s character sketch. We believe his quirky character will complement the story well. The emotional depth his character goes through, and the variations he has had to exhibit in his role are surely some things to watch out for.” Rashmika Mandanna will play the leading lady in the film. Produced by Naga Vamsi, the film is set for release on February 21.
