Actress Tanya Hope is wasting no time before making rapid strides in Tollywood. The Patel S. I. R. actress has landed the leading lady role in a forthcoming Telugu film that stars Sundeep Kishan.
Directed by debutant Mohan and bankrolled by C. V. Kumar, the film is said to be a remake of Tamil film, Indru Netru Naalai. Talking about the science fiction comedy, Tanya shares, “I was in awe of the whole concept of sci-fi comedy. The fact that the film would be my first project in such a genre makes it even more special.”
Apparently, the actress loved the original version and states that it is a challenging role to pull off. “The various shades and emotions in my role of a rich girlfriend and the twits in the screenplay make for an exciting watch,” adds Tanya, who will soon commence shooting.
Meanwhile, the actress is also elated with her successful foray into the Tamil and Kannada industries as both her films, Thadam and Yajamana turned out to be hits at the box-office. “It’s a coincidence that both the films released on the same day (March 1) and I couldn’t have asked for a better result,” she says jubilantly.
