Despite facing setbacks at the box office with underperforming films Radhe Shyam and Adipurush, Prabhas continues to be one of the most active actors in the Indian film industry. With a line-up of around 5 major high-budget projects, there are reports suggesting that Prabhas is contemplating a hiatus from his acting commitments in order to prioritise his health.
Sources indicate that the widely acclaimed pan-Indian actor has been grappling with significant knee discomfort. It's rumored that he is considering a knee surgery and mulling over the idea of taking a big break this year to ensure his overall well-being.
He is reportedly exploring the possibility of wrapping up his ongoing commitments by November, allowing him to take a break in December. However, the accuracy of these reports remains uncertain as Prabhas' team has not yet commented on the speculations surrounding his potential break.
Having wrapped up most of the filming for Salaar, Prabhas now only has a few patchwork scenes left to shoot. The movie is set to release in two parts, with the first installment titled Salaar: The Ceasefire.
Directed by the accomplished Prashanth Neel, known for his work on the hit movie KGF, the film boasts a stellar cast including Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Prabhas even has Kalki 2898 AD in his kitty. This film is being directed by Nag Ashwin and has Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in lead roles. This film is slated for a Sankranti release as of now and is likely to get postponed to May.
Maruthi is also making a film with Prabhas and is said to have been titled Vintage King. Sanjay Dutt is playing a pivotal role in this film. Post these two films, Prabhas has Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Arjun Reddy fame. This film is likely to begin next year only.
