The daughter of the mega family, Niharika Konidela, who made her cinematic debut with Oka Manasu hasn’t been seen on the big screen after that.
The actress who has been busy working on a web series with her father Naga Babu, Nanna Koochi, is soon set to foray into Tamil cinema. It has been reliably learnt that Niharika has been signed to play the female lead in actor Vijay Sethupathi’s next.
“She had been in talks for a while but it was only recently that things fell into place. The film will be directed by a debutant Arumuga Kumar, who has known Vijay for a long time. Niharika has got a very interesting role and so decided to give it a go-ahead. She has already begun shooting for the film,” reveals a source.
The untitled project also stars Gautham Karthik, son of veteran actor Karthik, who was seen in Mani Ratnam’s Kadali, in a dual role.
