Prabhas is perhaps the only pan-India hero who has been working on multiple films. While that is inspiring, he may soon be faced with a downside of the decision.
The Baahubali star had wrapped up the shooting of mythological fantasy drama Adipurush, scheduled to release in January 2023, but was postponed to June 2023 after the teaser revealed the poor quality of Vfx. While the Adipurush team has been re-working the graphics, Prabhas has almost wrapped up the shooting of Salaar, an action film directed by Prasanth Neil.
Salaar is scheduled to release in September 2023. The unit will start to brainstorm on promotions in the next couple of months. However, Prabhas isn’t too keen to start the promotions of the film because the Adipurush promotions will be running in parallel, confusing fans. The actor wants the Salaar promotions to commence only after Adipurush is released.
“Both films are releasing within a short span of three months, so Prabhas is planning to instruct the Salaar team not to put out promotional material until Adipursh releases,” says a source.
