Popular Tamil actor Vijay Antony, who is known to Telugu audience for his films Bichagadu and Saleem, will soon be seen in the film Kaasi directed by Kruthika. “She was my classmate in college. When she came to me with this story, I liked it,” Vijay said at the audio release of the film.
The actor is in town for the promotion of the Telugu version of the film, which releases on May 19. The family drama stars four actresses — Anjali, Sunaina, Amritha Aiyer and Shilpa Manjunath.
“Many filmmakers are encouraging me to act in Telugu films, and I can say that this film won’t disappoint anyone,” the actor said.
He added that though there were a few problems during the making of the film, they were able to complete it because of the efforts of a few good people.
