Rakshit gets the hang of the industry
After debuting in London Babulu and winning acclaim for his performance in Palasa 1978, Rakshit’s next film, Narakasura, will be an action drama.
Directed by Sebastian, the story has a coffee estates mafia backdrop and the actor will be seen in the role of a spirited youngster.
“It’s an intense action drama. We shot in Jabalpur, Araku and other places to suit the film’s plot,” says Rakshit. He is also acting in Sashivadane, a feel-good love story, directed by Saimohan Ubbana.
A rank outsider, Rakshit says he’s happy with his progress in the industry so far. “I am slowly getting the measure of the industry. What’s heartening is that filmmakers are noticing my performance and writing characters for me, so that’s giving me a lot of confidence,” he says. The actor feels that his honesty and disciplined efforts are paying off.
