After receiving critical acclaim for her role in ‘Hi Nanna’, pretty actress Mrunal Thakur should be banking on her next release ‘Family Star’ to showcase her glam quotient.”She has been doing performance centric roles in films like ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Hi Nanna’ and hoping to prove herself as a glamour girl in his next film ‘Family Star,” says a source and adds, “She should avoid shedding tears and showcase her bubbly and energetic side to grab the eyeballs of Telugu viewers,” he adds.
Actually, Mrunal Thakur proved her mettle in glam-centric roles in Bollywood and could slip into all kinds of ultra-glam outfits with ease if you go by her pictures uploaded on her social media platforms. "Telugu filmmakers are adept in etching glam-centric roles since they mostly make hero-centric movies. If she has to reach the top, she needs to do four songs and scenes in movies,” he points out.
He also cites the success of actresses like Samantha, Kajal, Tamaannah, and Shruti Haasan, who joined the big league in Tollywood by playing glam divas onscreen. "An actress should be a good mix of glam and performance and shouldn’t give up the oomph factor. Mrunal should change her track and pick glam roles.
