Leading Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers who delivered blockbusters like 'Rangasathalam,' 'Janatha Garage' and 'Waltair Veerayya' are expanding their base to Malayalam film industry in the last few months “They just backed a path-breaking film ‘Adrishya Jalakangal’ just to support an award winning film,” says a source and adds, "Even though the names of producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yellamanchili appeared on title cards, they just wanted to support a thought-provoking movie being helmed by Dr Biju and starring Tovino Thomas and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, which tells the story of a group of people devoid of any privileges and powers in the society, even as the government and its machinery prepare for a potential war.”
However, their maiden Malayalam production would be ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ with talented actor Tovino Thomas who is riding high with back-to-back blockbusters including his last outing '2018' and it is being helmed by Lal Jr of 'Driving License' fame. "The film had a grand launching ceremony in Kochi and shooting is progressing briskly. Popular actress Bhavana is playing the female lead in the movie,” he points out.
"Tovino Thomas plays the role of a superstar who is dealing with various crises, both personal and professional, in his film career. Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair score the music, while Alby is cranking the camera for this big budget film," concludes.
