Actress Pooja Hegde is on a roll. While she’s gearing up for the release of Duvvada Jagannadham, buzz is that she’s in talks for Prabhas’ Saaho too. Meanwhile, the latest update is that the former model is being considered as the female lead in director Vamshi Paidipally’s next with Mahesh Babu.
Confirming the same, a source from the film’s unit reveals, “She is in talks for sure. While nothing is final yet, the deal is almost sealed. Since there’s time for the film’s shoot to commence, the filmmakers want to take things slowly. The movie will go on to the floors only after Mahesh’s film with Koratala Siva nears completion. Meanwhile, they are ensuring everything is in place. Shooting may commence sometime at the end of 2017.”
Pooja started off well with Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda, but took a sabbatical to star in her Hindi debut Mohenjo Daro. And now, as she returns to T-town with Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham, she’s much in demand. It remains to be seen how things fare for her.
