Mister trimmed

Last Friday’s release, Mister, didn’t quite open to positive reviews. Of the several negative comments that the film received, one major flaw everyone pointed out to was the seemingly “never ending run time”. In a bid to ease things for the viewers, the makers have now trimmed the film by 17 minutes! Initially, it was assumed that the film was releasing with no competition at the theatres, but actor Lawrence’s dubbed Tamil film Shivalinga, which released on the same day, is doing very well. In fact, the film is picking up by the day and was competing neck to neck with Mister by Sunday.The collections in some locations show that by the third day of release (i.e. Sunday), Shivalinga performed even better than the Varun Tej starrer.
