Some time ago, Tamannaah shot for a film under director Kunal Kohli. The new-age romantic comedy, which is set in a very different space, also happens to be the director’s debut film in Telugu.
While Tamannaah finished shooting for her part long ago (with a majority of the film being shot in London), the film has been lying in the cans ever since.
Both the film’s director and the producers, Sachiin Joshi and Akshai Puri are from Mumbai, and are having a tough time getting through to the right distributor to push the film’s release. They believe a good producer or a distributor can help them get a wide and big release that’ll increase the film’s reach.
A source informs, “Tamannaah is done shooting for her part and has moved on. While the fate of this untitled film hangs in balance, the actress has signed on a few more films. Meanwhile, the filmmakers are working to crack an exciting deal with a big distributor.”
Sundeep Kishan is paired opposite Tamannaah in the film.
