Actress Vijayashanthi’s comeback to Tollywood has been one of the talking points in the industry. We already know that the yesteryear’s superstar is playing an important role in Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film, Sarileru Neekevvaru. But now we also know that the actress will play the role of a medical professor in the action drama. Apparently, the actress’ character will be a pivotal one for the story and will drive the narrative to interesting edges. In fact, one of the reasons Vijayashanthi agreed to come on board was because of the strong and interesting portrayal of the character she dons in the movie. Upon hearing Anil Ravipudi’s narration of her role as a medical professor, the actress had felt that the character suited her age. Vijayashanthi believes that the film will be an ideal comeback. “She has already started shooting for her part, and she seems to be enjoying donning the greasepaint again. The on-the-sets atmosphere, talking about the film scripts and meeting filmi personalities are all adding to making her nostalgic,” informs a source.
