Actor-turned-director, Prakash Raj is all praise for actress Priyamani. Prakash Raj is now directing Mana Oori Ramayanam, the audio release of which happened on Friday, with Nagarjuna as the special guest. “After I completed writing the story, I immediately thought about Priyamani for an the role”, said Prakash Raj.
“She is an intense actor and in this film, she plays a very important role. She reveals the other side of three people in this film,” he explained. He further added that he noticed actor Satya after watching Puri Jagan’s Jyothi Lakshmi. “He came to the industry to become an actor, and I felt he was fit for my story,” said Prakash Raj.
He explained that although he could make the film, he suffered losses as he couldn’t get it released properly. “Abhishek Pictures watched my film, liked it and is now supporting me in releasing my film,” he confirmed.
Nagarjuna described Prakash Raj as a happy person who enjoys life. “I try to be like him. Whatever he does, he does so happily. I am glad that this film is coming from him,” he said, adding that Indian cinema has changed and small budget films are witnessing success. “At this juncture, Prakash Raj’s film is releasing and I am happy for him,” he says.
