Spurred by the tremendous success of Bichagadu, a sequel is being planned.

For a Tamil film dubbed in Telugu, actor Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu had become a sensation of sorts as it made record collections and made the actor a recognisable face among the audience here. We now hear that a sequel to the film is on the cards.
“The filmmakers will start working after finalising a story, something that is as interesting and captivating as the first film. It is possible that the film will be a bilingual,” shares a source, adding, “It is likely that the sequel will be released in Kannada and Malayalam too. But this time, it will be made on a higher budget and a bit more lavishly.” The film will be directed by Sasi, who also directed the first film.
