Director S.S. Rajamouli’s brother Kanchi is all set to make his directorial debut in Tollywood. A source says Kanchi has come up with a nice story and has decided to make a “budget film” with actors Ranadhir Reddy and Shanvi.
Kanchi is actually a well-known dialogue writer who has also acted in a few films. One of the popular scenes happens to be a comedy scene with actor Sunil in Marayada Ramanna.
Rajamouli’s other brother Keeravani may provide the music for the film and some of the industry’s top technicians have also been roped in for other production departments.
Kanchi has so far, mostly worked for Rajamouli’s films as a writer and also as an actor. Interestingly, most of Rajamouli’s assistants have gone on to direct, but no one has been successful. It will be interesting to see how Kanchi fares.
