While no official confirmation has come in about this film, it seems almost certain that actor Nikhil Siddhartha will star in the remake of Kannada blockbuster film Kirik Party, and what’s more, the film will go on floors in June! “The film is a remake for sure but major changes will be made in order to adapt it to the Telugu sensibilities. It is a complete campus-based drama which will explore college life and its politics. It has been done in Telugu cinema before, but not in the recent past, and so the makers are quite excited to bring the film to the audience,” shares a source.
Apparently, the cast and crew of the film is yet to be finalised. The makers will soon start scouting for locations to suit the engineering college in which the film will be shot. Chandoo Mondeti is going to be in charge of the screenplay and dialogues of this remake.
