The man in demand
Most of Vennela Kishore’s recent comical outings have been great successes. His latest releases Ami Thumi and Keshava have put him on the centre stage with great reviews and heaps of praises coming his way. With no other comedian having such a demand in present, we hear the actor has even hiked his remuneration.
“It’s been nearly two years since Vennela Kishore rose to prominence. While his stakes went up last year, a series of successful films have made him the go-to guy for every comical role. In fact, filmmakers are weaving roles just for him to suit his style and body language,” reveals a source.
Earlier, the likes of Brahmanandam, Sunil and Saptagiri enjoyed such popularity at certain phases in their career. Brahmi, especially, went to the pinnacle. However, it did seem like there was an overdose of him when audience started craving for new faces. Kishore sure seems to have cashed in on the demand, and of course, his comic timing has proved to be a huge advantage for him.
