Having made his directorial debut with Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, Ravi Kiran Kola subsequently went on to be a show runner for Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, starring Vishwak Sen.
The talented filmmaker, whose unconventional storytelling has impressed everyone, is all set for his next, a political thriller. “It’s completely action-packed and intense,” says Ravi Kiran.
“I am currently working on the script and giving final touches. I am proud that a prestigious banner like Matinee Entertainments is producing the film,” the director adds.
While the director’s first two films are romantic and family entertainers, interestingly, he had opted for a complete different genre for his next.
“As a filmmaker, I wanted do try various genres and wanted to gain good command over various crafts. For instance, I provided the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. I was able to get a good insight in writing department too. I am now foraying into a different genre with political subject,” says the director, who is all excited to direct his next film.
