Renowned fashion designer and couturier Manish Malhotra, who has designed the wardrobes of several superstars in Hindi and Tamil films, is now working on Telugu film Game Changer helmed by hot shot director Shanmugam Shankar.
Manish is designing a wardrobe for Ram Charan’s songs in the action drama. This is the first time that he is working with a Telugu actor in a Tollywood film. Apparently, it was the director’s idea to rope in the ace stylist. Shankar and Manish had earlier worked for high-budget films like Indian, Enthiran and Sivaji. (Manish also designed late actress Sridevi’s costumes in the Tamil film Puli). The director envisioned the Game Changer songs to be opulent. “Shankar wanted Charan’s costumes to get global appeal by giving them an interesting makeover. Hence he hired Manish to work on the clothes,” says a source.
Charan and Manish are friends too, so working with the actor was easy for the celebrated designer.
