After starting off his second innings with a negative role, Jagapathi Babu is one of the most wanted actors down South. What’s more, the actor is willing to try out different genres and looks in all his films.
“In my earlier film, people told me that I was looking hot and stylish. Even in Rangasthalam, although I didn’t wear a shirt and showed my stomach, everyone still says I am looking hot!” jokes Jagapathi Babu, adding that he is lucky to get different kinds of roles, like the one which director Sukumar has given him.
“I can do mass kind of characters and Sukumar has projected me in a typical village president’s role. In fact, when I was dubbing for it, I felt like killing the president because of his cruelty!” reveals the actor.
Crediting Legend as the start of his second innings, the actor says Rangasthalam is also a new leap in his career.
“This is my second life after I started my second innings and I thank Sukumar for giving me such a wonderful character,” says Jagapathi Babu.
