The actress who dabbled in action earlier will be seen in a period film now.

After having worked in the action based film James Bond, actress Sakshi Chaudhary is now turning to the supernatural genre with Suvarna Sundari. The story goes back to hundreds of years with supernatural elements. “The thriller starts from the year 1509 and moves to the present times. We shot at several locations in Bihar, Kerala, Anantapur, Hyderabad and Bengaluru in search of a perfect backdrop. A lot of computer graphic work is needed for the period look,” says director Surya.
He adds, “History usually tells only success stories. But we are showing the dark side of history and the impact it has on the present generation.” Apart from Sakshi, actress Poorna is also playing an important role in the film.
