Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule Sequel on Cards?
Tamil director Selvaraghavan has reportedly readied a script that is a sequel to his highly successful Telugu film 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule' featuring Venkatesh and Trisha, released in 2007. "It was a perfect blend of comedy and emotion, and it struck a chord with Telugu audience and turned out to be one of the biggest hits in Venkatesh's career," says a source and adds, "In the film, he falls in love with Trisha and lands a job in a software company where she works in. However, things take an unexpected turn when he knows she is already engaged and later gets to know that she is engaged to his close friend (Srikanth)," he adds.
Nowadays, Selvaraghavan has become an actor and has been seen in films like "Mark Antony' but he hasn't given up on his directorial dreams. "He wants to do the sequel for 'Aadavari' since he has found an interesting point for the sequel and continues it with more interest. He has already spoken to Trisha, who has agreed to play the female lead, and is discussing with Venkatesh to take it forward," he adds.
Selvaraghavan remade 'Aadavari" in Tamil with his brother and actor Dhanush as 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and tasted success. Probably, he will be remaking the sequel too.
