Varun Tej’s new film Fida, directed by Sekhar Kammula was supposed to start shooting in the US, but the shooting is now delayed as the actor injured himself a few days back at the shoot of another film, Mister.
“The doctors have advised him to rest for five weeks, so the actor is now at home, doing just that,” says a source. Initially, the actor felt that the injury was not a major one, but doctors found that the leg was fractured and advised complete rest. It was only then that he altered his film schedules. The shoots of both films have now been postponed for a few weeks.
Once the actor recovers from the injury, he will complete the Mister shoot and then join Sekhar Kammula’s film. Srinu Vaitla is directing Mister with Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. Sai Pallavi is the female lead in Fida.
