Catherine Tresa Alexander’s stars have surely begun to shine bright ever since the film Sarrainodu became a super hit in 2016. She may have walked out of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No. 150, but that’s doing her no harm and she’s in great demand. She was recently signed on for a special number in Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ untitled film with director Boyapati Srinu. And it is learnt that she has been paid a whopping '65 lakh just for the song!
“This is quite a huge amount for Catherine who wouldn’t have been paid such a staggering sum even for any of her full length outings. She is a big value addition to the film, considering she dances well and has the oomph factor needed for such songs,” reveals a reliable source.
Another reason for spending such big money on the special song is because of the producers’ confidence in the director. “They believe that he is capable of getting the returns and that’s why they are leaving no stone unturned,” adds the source. Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal are the female leads in the action entertainer.
