After the phenomenal success of Rangasthalam, Ram Charan’s next film is in big demand. The untitled project, directed by Boyapati Srinu is currently being shot in Hyderabad.
With Rangasthalam collecting more than Rs 110 crore and becoming a huge success in all areas including overseas, the producer of this upcoming film wants to cash in on that success. Several distributors are also eyeing the distribution rights and coming forward with huge money.
UV Creations, the production house belonging to actor Prabhas’ friends, is reportedly keen to grab the rights of this film at bulk rates. They want to take up the distribution rights for both the states at a whopping price, but the producer is not showing any interest.
“The producer wants to sell the rights area-wise with high rates to get benefits instead of selling the entire rights for a bulk rate,” says a source.
Meanwhile, UV Creations is trying to grab it all, failing which, they want to take the Nizam and Ceded areas at least as those parts yield the best business. They have reportedly offered a sum of Rs 75 crore to the producer.
