Producer turned JS leader Bogavalli Prasad has complete faith in Pawan Kalyan

Top-notch producer B.V.S.N. Prasad is the lone producer from Tollywood to join star-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s “Jana Sena’ and claims that he was pulled in by Pawan Kalyan’s well-thought out policies and honesty. He has dedicated himself to the party work and has no plans to contest elections.

Q: You are the first top producer in Tollywood to join Jana Sena? What made you take this decision?

A: I have been attracted to Pawan Kalyan’s well-thought out policies and honesty in addressing people’s woes. I wanted to support him in his vision to make Andhra Pradesh, a numero uno state. So I took the membership of the party. I will dedicate myself to the party work and follow the instructions of my leader.

Q: You just made one blockbuster ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ with Pawan Kalyan and suddenly you have joined his party now?

A: I have always been a great admirer of his superstardom. Later, his political interests also drew me closer to him. It is true that I just made one big ticket film with him but I have been in touch with him whenever we had some spare time. I always observed his vast knowledge on various topics and was fascinated with him. He has a vision for the upliftment of the downtrodden in the state.

Q: We heard that you are going to contest the next assembly elections in AP?

A: No way. I have dedicated myself to the party work and if the party decides that I should contest elections, I may think about it. Until then, I will stand behind Pawan Kalyan and his party in achieving its goals.

Q: You tasted massive success with ‘Virupaksha” and have few big films on hand? Will you be sailing in two boats?

A: No. My son Bapineedu has been listening to stories and churning out hit movies like ‘Nannaku Prematho’, ‘Tholi Prema’ and recent hit ‘Virupaksha’, so that I can just focus on party work. My son has taken the responsibility of keeping our banner flying high, giving me a breather of sorts.
