Stuartpuram Thief Gets pan-India Ticket

With the makers of 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' releasing their trailer in Hindi, they are taking their movie to pan-India. Apparently, after legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju won appreciation across the world for their valiant efforts in 'RRR,' it is now the turn of young director Vamsee to take the story of a notorious thief from Stuatpuram-Tiger Nageswar Rao of 1970's-to impress pan-India viewers.

"We are planning to release the film in Hindi since it is about a courageous thief of south India in the 1970s who hailed from Stuartpuram near Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. He sent shivers down the spine of his rivals and police with his daredevil acts," says producer Abhishek Agarwal, who is making Bollywood movies like 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Vaccine War' these days.

"I have been keenly observing the taste of Hindi film viewers and the kind of movies they are encouraging. With southern films doing well in the North, we hope to cash in on it," he adds.

He believes that this real-life story has enough potential to be released in multiple languages. "It is a good mix of fiction and reality, and we have taken some cinematic liberties to enhance heroism and deliver a larger-than-life action movie for the viewers across India, rather than just in Telugu," he reasons.

However, with Hindi distributors insisting on massive promotions to draw in audiences in Delhi, Maharashtra, and UP, Abhishek is planning massive promotions. "We will leave no stone unturned in promoting our film and drawing the attention of the Hindi viewers. Already, our Hindi trailer has received a huge response," he concludes.
