Dancing sensation Sreeleela\'s kick-ass action scenes earn praises
Young sensation Sreeleela who played bubbly lover girl roles in films like ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Skanda’, turned into a fiery angel in her latest release ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’. She joins her guardian Balakrishna to thrash numerous goons in the climax action sequences.
“Sreeleela was looking fit and trim and nicely pulled off kicks and punches along with Balakrishna and showcased a new avatar,” says a distributor, who claims that it was a revelation of sorts. “Sreeleela was lucky to get this opportunity to showcase her fiery side quite early in her career because young divas seldom get such roles,” he adds.
Of course, the story of ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ was all about a fearful girl turning into a fighting angel but she utilized this opportunity very well. “Actually, it is a clichéd psychological test of making a timid girl revolt after seeing her doting chiccha dying before her eyes and she begins to smash goons,” he points out.
However, Sreeleela is considered one of the top dancing heroines in Tollywood after the likes of Sai Pallavi and Keerthy Suresh. “Her dancing abilities were tested in ‘Jinthak Chithaka’ and ‘Pulsar Bike’ songs in ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Ghandarbahi in ‘Skanda’ to be hailed as a new dancing sensation,” he concludes.
