If all goes well, then actress Vijayashanti, who scorched the Tollywood silver screens in the 80s and 90s, might make a comeback. The actress-turned-politician is apparently being considered for a pivotal role alongside Mahesh Babu in Anil Ravipudi’s forthcoming big-budget entertainer. Vijayashanti, who was last seen in Naayudamma (2006), has reportedly expressed interest in the role that she has been offered in Anil Ravipudi’s film. However, the director is yet to pen a comprehensive script for the film and will meet the actress once again after the script is complete. A source in the know informed, “Vijayashanti is almost certainly going to play the role if all goes well with regards to the script and her portrayal.” The film will go on floors in July.
