Hyderabad: Senior South Indian actor Sarath Babu is no more. He breathed his last at the AIG hospital in Hyderabad, where he was receiving treatment for multi organ failure for a month.
Several Tollywood celebrities including Mahesh Babu, Lakshmi Manchu and political leaders including Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav offered their condolences.
The family has announced that Sarath Babu's Mortal remains will be placed at the Telugu Film Chamber on Monday from 5.30 to 7.30pm. Sarath Babu's body will be later taken to Chennai in an ambulance. Sarath Babu's final rites will be performed in Chennai.
