The success of their previous films, Srirasthu Subhamasthu and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is working out pretty well for Allu Sirish and his director Vi. Anand, who are working together for the scifi film B 57 (working title). It seems that the satellite rights of the film, which is still in production, have already been sold for Rs 4.5 crore to the Sun Network. Incidentally, this is the highest price for an Allu Sirish film.
“Films of such a genre work well on TV. Also, expectations are high since the concept is refreshing. Anand’s earlier film had worked well when it premiered on TV and so, it felt like a good price to pay,” shares a source from the network.
The film stars Seerat Kapoor and Surbhi as the female leads, and is likely to be released towards the end of the year.
