I'm only looking for good content: Naara Rohith
Naara Rohith has always distinguished himself by doing different kinds of films. The actor will soon be seen in Aatagallu that also stars Jagapathi Babu. “When director Paruchuri Murali came to me with the subject, I initially didn’t show interest. But he told me that he had already narrated the story to Jagapathi Babu, who agreed to do the film. I too got convinced after hearing the full narration,” shares Naara Rohith.
The actor admits that his commercial film Balakrishnudu was a failure. “Though the film failed miserably, I tried something new,” says Rohit, adding that he has become choosier now. “Many filmmakers are approaching me, but I’m only looking for good content before deciding to go ahead,” he states.
In a new development, the actor has also started producing films. “Whatever genre we do, in the end, everyone wants to make a film for money and appreciation. Many of my films are getting appreciation, but not money. For example, my earlier film Appatlo Okadundevadu got a lot of appreciation, but was not commercially viable. The other film was Needi Naadi Oke Katha which earned both,” he says.
Rohit says that he wants to take a break once he has finished his current projects. “I have bigger plans. Some of the subjects are universal but I want to make them in both Telugu and Tamil films,” he declares.
