Chiru Sir, Rajini Sir developed ecosystem for films: Vijay Devarakonda

Stylish actor Vijay Devarakonda thanked Superstar Rajinikanth and Megastar Chiranjevvi for building the movie ecosystem in the south film industry.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said that Chiru Sir and Rajini Sir were idols of the film industry. Vijay's remarks would certainly be the best gift to Chiru, who is celebrating his birthday today.

"Their stature will not decrease even if they give 6-7 back-to-back flops. Rajini sir's movies before Jailer failed but he is back with a bang now. Similarly, Chiru sir's recent films were also duds but if he gets the right director and gets back to the field with energy, may be he will give a super hit this Sankranti."

He said that film stars of their stature cannot be judged. They have gone beyond hits and flops and carved a niche for themselves, he said.

"It is because of their efforts that all the young stars like us are able to make a career in films. They have done a lot to the film industry and ensured that there is audience to films," he said.

Vijay said that it was foolishness to think that Chiru sir and Rajini sir have lost their charm now.
