Jr NTR under pressure
The sudden demise of Jr NTR’s father Hari Krishna led to a few unexpected changes, with his estranged uncle Balakrishna suddenly reconnecting with the actor. Now, his half-sister Suhasini is contesting from Kukatpally on a Telugu Desam Party ticket. Jr NTR will have to decide whether he will campaign for his half-sibling or the party.
“The actor has not yet decided about the campaign, as he would like to completely focus on his film career and distance himself from politics. That’s why he along with his brother Kalyan Ram have issued a press release wishing their sister Suhasini good luck in politics,” says a source.
This indicates that the two brothers may not campaign for their sister. For if they campaign, the party may ask them to do the same in other parts as well. Jr NTR’s fans have also urged him not to participate in active politics at this time, as his film career is presently looking good. “He has already made a mistake earlier and his fans have appealed to him not to repeat the same mistake again,” says the source.
On the other hand, Balakrishna is already involved in active politics, as a TDP MLA. He will be campaigning and has already allotted 10 days for the same in Telangana. He will campaign for his niece and for Bhavya Prasad, who is contesting from Serilingampally.
