My college friends mostly ask about Vijay Deverakonda: Malavika Nair
Malavika Nair is simultaneously pursuing her college degree, even as she acts in films. The actress is in her second year at St Francis College, Begumpet. She goes to college often and tries not to miss classes, and has still managed to promote her latest film Taxiwala.
“I have made really good friends in college and they know that I am acting in films,” she says. The actress made her debut with the film Yevade Subramanyam that stars Nani and Vijay Deverakonda. She played a cameo in the recently released Taxiwala that again stars Vijay.
“I represented my school in sports,” she reveals. “But it is very important to be good at academics,” she says of her educational goals. Her subjects are history, literature and political science. “I took science in the 11th and 12th class and wanted to get into IIT to become a pilot, but things have changed. So, now I’ve opted for these subjects for my degree,” she says.
Malavika adds that she is very good at painting. But what do her friends have to say about her acting career? “Mostly, they ask about Vijay Deverakonda. How is he as a person? And of course, they want to see him. Then they ask about my upcoming projects,” she says. Her role in Taxiwala was highly appreciated by all.
