Pretty actress Kajal Aggawral is reportedly planning to dub for herself for her author-backed role in 'Satyabhama’ to breathe life into the cop role. “She wants to make the role more realistic and relatable and resolved to dub her lines,” says a source and adds, “Being her maiden female-centric film, she is going all out to prove her mettle in an author-backed role and deliver a blockbuster," The makers are planning to dub the film in varied languages including Hindi since she is quite popular among Hindi film viewers. "She has done some Hindi films like 'Singham' and 'Special 26' with big stars like Ajay Devgn and Akhay Kumar to gain a fan following in Bollywood," he adds.
Now that she is essaying an anger-driven role, away from her lover girl and performance-centric roles, she wants to reach out to as many viewers as possible across India. "Her action role will be unique for Hindi film viewers and for viewers in Tamil language too besides Telugu," he points out.
The teaser featured Kajal in the titular role who seems to be a suspended cop on a mission to solve a case. She plays ACP Satyabhama who has to confront her haunted past, diving into a high-stakes investigation to find a missing man. "She will become a new crowd puller in Tollywood if she is able to draw crowds on the strength of her name and join the elite list of female superstars Anushka and Nayantara," he concludes.
