While the first look of Allu Arjun’s DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham is generating a great deal of buzz, the actor’s next film, with writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi is in pre-production, with script work going on. Amidst all this, his film with Lingusamy, which was to be produced by K. Gnanavel Raja, and was announced at a grand ceremony in Chennai a few months ago, has either been called off or indefinitely postponed. The film would have marked the actor’s entry into Tamil cinema.
“Bunny will next work on Vamsi’s project which will be launched in April. Lingusamy’s film has interested the actor; however, the director is having a few differences with producer K. Gnanavel Raja over investment and other issues, so as of now, the film’s fate hangs in balance,” a source reveals.
Vamsi’s project, meanwhile, will be jointly bankrolled by Lagadapati Sridhar and Naga Babu.
