Leo Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Injured in Palakkad Theatre Stampede

Leo, featuring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has been a big hit in Kerala. It broke records for the highest box office earnings on its first day. To celebrate this success, director Lokesh Kanagaraj planned a Kerala Success Meet. However, during his visit to Kerala, the director got injured. He had scheduled a press conference in Kochi and a visit to a local theater, but these events were postponed.

Despite the delay, a large crowd gathered at Palakkad Kavita Theater to see the director. Unfortunately, Lokesh Kanagaraj sustained injuries when fans caused a stampede, and the police had to intervene to control the situation. Because of his leg injury, he had to cancel his plans to visit Thrissur Ragam Theater and Kochi Kavita Theater. He mentioned that he would reschedule the press meet in Kochi for another day.

He expressed his gratitude to Kerala and mentioned that due to a minor injury, he couldn't make it to the other venues and the press meeting. He assured that he would return to meet the fans in Kerala soon.

He took to his X account and wrote, “Thank you Kerala for your love.. Overwhelmed, happy and grateful to see you all in Palakkad. ❤ Due to a small injury in the crowd, I couldn’t make it to the other two venues and the press meeting. I would certainly come back to meet you all in Kerala again soon. Till then continue enjoying #Leo with the same love".
