Ace director Ram Gopal Varma claimed that his upcoming political potboiler ‘Vyooham’ is first-of-its-kind in world cinema. “No one has made a film on present-day characters and events in world cinema,” claims director Ram Gopal Varma at an event and adds, “My earlier film ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ also revolved around the life of legendary NTR. However, those episodes in the film happened 30 years ago,” he adds.
He claims that he can’t disclose more about the story of his film ‘Vyooham’ since many things about the film are already in public domain. “My film’s strength lies in various characters and their behavior. How few people talk in public while plotting against people in their minds to check-mate their opponents. I am just delving into the psychological aspect of various characters,” he points out.
RGV also claims that he is not a politician but likes to observe the psyche of various politicians. “I have used characters like N Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh in the film to showcase their political game plans. Interestingly, all these people keep ridiculing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy day-in and day-out in real-life. When our film makes a few comments about them, they rush to the courts. I am a bit amused about it,” he concludes.
