Dia Mirza might make her Telugu debut after all. Hyderabad actress, who has so far been seen in several Hindi films, will soon be seen in a Telugu film, titled Wild Dog, starring Nagarjuna.
Buzz is that the Sanju actress, who made Mumbai her home, will be seen playing the role of Nagarjua’s wife in the film.
We are told that the action entertainer’s director, Ashishor Solomon, wanted to add a different touch to Nag’s wife’s role, and sought someone who could give the role a fresh makeover.
“Dia Mirza is from Hyderabad and had plans to be a part of Tollywood anyway. So, when director Ashishor narrated the story as well her role to her, the maturity of the role captivated Dia and she agreed to come on board,” says a source with knowledge in the matter. The new-age drama, which is being produced by Niranjan Reddy, showcases Nag in the role of an NIA officer.
