Nani-starrer Jersey has been garnering a lot of curiosity for its basic plot that revolves around the concept of late bloomers. The sports-drama is apparently set in a different time period. Sources say that the film will begin on the year ’86 and end in ’96. And what happens during this decade forms the crux of Jersey.
The first look reveals the basic character sketch of Nani who plays the role of Arjun, a 36 year-old cricketer. Going by the Jersey teaser and the poster, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial looks like an intense narrative with high emotional quotient. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments banner, the movie has Sraddha Srinath playing the leading lady. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film, which will hit the screens soon.
