The already enviable cast of Prabhas-starrer Saaho has a new addition in the form of German model and actress Evelyn Sharma. Following her Bollywood debut with From Sydney with Love, Evelyn will be seen in an impactful role in the action-drama directed by Sujeeth.
Sharing details on how she landed the project, Evelyn reveals, “Director Sujeeth approached me for this role in Saaho and of course, I said yes! I am glad that he saw a completely different side to me than the kind of roles I have played so far. This film is an amazing opportunity to show my talents and a fantastic launch for me into the South film industry.”
The actress will reportedly be seen performing daredevil stunts in the action drama.
“Yes! I am excited at the prospect of pulling off some stunts in the film. Hopefully, my fans and the audience will enjoy and appreciate it,” says Evelyn.
Ask if she was aware of Telugu cinema earlier, and she says, “I was approached for films in the South, but I could not commit as I was pre-occupied with my other projects. There was even an opportunity to work with Mahesh Babu which I really wanted to take up, but unfortunately, my dates were already blocked. When I saw Baahubali, I caught the South fever and of course, was extremely impressed with Prabhas! Being a part of Saaho now is a dream come true.”
