RGV's Vyooham teaser divides netizens
TIRUPATI: Film director Ram Gopal Varma on Saturday unveiled the teaser of his latest film Vyooham, which delves into the controversial political landscape of the state. While the teaser has ignited political discussions, it has left netizens divided with divergent opinions.
Varma has on his official Twitter account described Vyooham as the true story of various steps different people with different agendas took following the untimely death of late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
“Here is my teaser of ‘VYOOHAM’, a film produced by @dkkzoomin (Dasari Kiran Kumar). It is the true story of various plots woven by various people for various agendas after the sudden death of YSR. It is a RgvDen product”, RGV tweeted.
The teaser begins with recreation of the helicopter crash that claimed YSR's life. It portrays characters of Chandrababu Naidu, Telugu Desam Party chief, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Bharati, Vijayamma, and Rosaiah.
Notably, the teaser concludes with a powerful dialogue delivered by the lead character, who declares his dissimilarity to Naidu. This closing statement is anticipated to resonate with viewers and shape the political discourse.
Some netizens, who closely follow RGV, expressed disappointment, believing that Vyooham would serve as a propaganda film aligned with Jagan's political interests. Supporters of Telugu Desam and Jana Sena parties also voiced concerns that this film may be a tool to further Jagan's political agenda.
Conversely, staunch Jagan followers are excited about RGV’s film, eager to explore Jagan's journey of overcoming challenges after YSR's demise.
