Pretty actress Kriti Shetty seems to be facing the brunt of a couple of flops and she is no longer a sought-after actress for big Telugu stars, forcing her to move to Malayalam industry. Even though her rivals Rashmika and Sri Leela hiked their pay but ‘Uppena’ girl had to be content with Rs 1.2 crore plus fee.
“After big flops like ‘The Warrior’ and ‘Custody’, Kriti Shetty ratings have taken a beating and now she has no plans to hike her fee, despite knowing that her rivals are charging double her amount for their movies,” says a source.
Actually, after ‘Uppena’ she was flooded with offers and had an opportunity to share screen space with stars like Nani, Naga Chaitanya and Ram but back-to-back duds dried up big offers and she has gravitated to Malayalam movies with ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ opposite Tovino Thomas. “Telugu superstars always like to work with actresses who are among hits because it helps their film’s business. Hence, Kriti has moved to Malayalam films, probably waiting for the right role to return to Tollywood with a bang, “ the source adds.
