Ram Charan's next based on Chiranjeevi's film Manthri Gari Viyankudu?

Following earlier reports that Ram Charan and Nenu Local director Nakkina Trinadha Rao were teaming up, all was silent. However, a source reveals that script work on the film is progressing very briskly, and the team has even decided what path to take it on. Apparently, the film’s story will be a modern version of Chiranjeevi’s acclaimed film Manthri Gari Viyankudu, directed by Bapu. “The film’s story will suit the modern audience’s sensibilities with a family drama amid a political scenario. The makers felt it would be great to adapt it to modern times. It won’t be a remake for sure, but a few key elements will be brought in,” reveals a source.

Talks have been on and everyone involved is quite excited. However, it is to be seen if the team sticks to the idea in the long term, considering there’s still some time to go for the film to happen.

Meanwhile Trinadha Rao, who is busy working on his script, is very keen to make a hat-trick of hits.
