After playing an upright cop in films like ‘IPC 376’ and ‘Hidimba’, pretty actress Nandita Swetha is donning a cop role with grey shades in her upcoming Telugu film ‘Mangalavaram’. “I haven’t done such a rugged role before,” she says and adds, “I’ll be chewing a paan and delivering cuss words. I practiced well with the writer and director on how to say them in a particular way since the character was rooted in a tribal zone. I haven’t explored a personality trait like this. She is a pataka and energetic. I had a blast playing her because it was unique and different,” she explains.
She also played a police officer in the recent release ‘Hidimba,' where she indulged in lip locks with Ashwin Babu, “I was depicted as a pretty looking cop in the film and lip locks were demanded by the script, so I didn’t mind it,” she points out.
She also did Tamil films like ‘Rakham’ and likes to explore varied roles in different languages rather sticking to one particular language. "I am game for variety,' she concludes.
