Waiting for the right time?
Work on actor Naga Chaitanya’s film with uncle Suresh Babu’s production house has been on for a while now. The film to be directed by debutant director Krishna, an associate of director
S. Shankar, was scheduled to go on floors in January. But in a sudden turn of events, the film seems to have been put on hold.
“While the production is busy with Rana’s next film directed by Teja, even Naga Chaitanya’s stakes have gone up post the release of Premam and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. He has a couple of projects in hand. So they felt this wasn’t a right time for a collaboration and decided to move on and work together at the right time,” shares a source in the know.
While Chaitanya still hasn’t started working on Kalyan Krishna’s project, buzz is that he has given a nod to the remake of Two States and a film with Gautham Menon could also materialize.
