Allu Arjun proves naysayers wrong to scale dizzy heights

Reigning star Allu Arjun who has become the first Telugu actor to bag the national award for acting, has many firsts to his credit. He was first Telugu star to play a grey role in ‘Arya 2’ and also the first one to introduce ‘six packs’ abs fascination in Telugu with ‘Desamuduru’.

"He is a master of disguises and would go in for complete image makeovers to slip into all kinds for roles with ease which has given him a edge over others,” says producer Lagadapati Sridhar, who made patriotic film ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India” with Allu Arjun.

“Bunny went in for a short haircut and bulked up a bit besides wearing deglamorized soldier’s uniform throughout to breathe life into the role of valiant soldier,” he adds.

He claims that Allu Arjun faced a lot of negative comments early in his career but he overcame all those naysayers with one good performance after another to silence his detractors.

Unmindful of naysayers, he relied on his immense talent and hard work to scale new heights as a saleable hero. His exceptional dancing skills also came in handy. On the other hand, he proved his acting prowess by portraying roles with varied shades and gradually won audience love and affection,” points out Sridhar.

When he was doing well, he did relatively smaller films like ‘Vedham’ since he goes to any extent if likes a particular director or producer. “He told me that he is doing a film for me since he was impressed with my body of work as producer and we joined hands for ‘Naa Peru.” Although it didn’t do well as expected but is drawing fantastic response on TV and digital platforms,” he informs.

The guy who looked very normal in his debut film ‘Gangotri’ and “Parugu’ has now been hailed as a handsome hunk by his fans. “He is a new lovable hero for viewers across India after 'Pushpa'. His meteoric rise could be attributed to his acting skills, passion and loads of sweat too,” he concludes.
