In a recent interview, Rakshit mentioned that they occasionally exchange text messages.

When asked about the current dynamic among Rashmika, Rishab Shetty (known for "Kantara"), and himself, Rakshit shed light on the situation. To provide context, Rashmika made her acting debut in Rishab's directorial project, "Kirik Party," which was produced by Rakshit, who also played the lead role in the film. During an interview, Rashmika discussed her debut without explicitly mentioning the name of the production house. She used air quotes while referring to the production house, which some fans of Rishab and Rakshit perceived as disrespectful.

Furthermore, after the worldwide success of "Kantara," Rashmika was asked about the film and admitted that she had not yet seen it. This did not sit well with Kannada cinema enthusiasts, who criticized her for appearing disloyal to the industry.

So, when Rakshit was asked about the current relationship between the three of them, he commented, "Rishab... I'm not sure (laughs). As for me and Rashmika, we exchange occasional messages. It's not constant communication, but whenever my film is released, she extends her wishes, and I do the same when her film comes out. We exchange birthday greetings as well." He went on to say, "She has always had big dreams, and she's achieving them. She deserves credit for that."
